This website was created in memory of Kostyantyn Gusliyenko: a genius, extraordinary scientist, who was passionate and devoted to his work, that was his life's purpose. His day started and finished from writing formulas in his notepads. On this website we have uploaded the copies of his notebooks, more than 5 000 pages. The notebooks are in reverse chronological order from November 2025 to May 1985.

Kostyantyn, I wanted to keep and save all your work that you have done with such love and desire to advance science in this world for the better. So, that young or new scientists can learn from you. By doing so I am expressing my admiration of your devotion and love to science. I am thanking you for this event-filled, active and bright scientific road that we have passed together hand in hand during 45 years of our life.

Dear visitor, this website is a memorial to Kostyantyn Gusliyenko.

Kostyantyn Gusliyenko was born on 25th of February 1959 in Kyiv, Ukraine. The name of his father is Yuriy Aleksandrovich Gusliyenko, he was Senior Researcher, PhD, Institute of Metalorgy. His mother's name is Margarita Gusliyenko, she was a doctor (pediatrician).

Kostyantyn graduated from high school in 1976 when he was 17 years old. He entered the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" majoring in Physics. He obtained a Bachelor and, then, a Master degree in Physics of Metals. He continued his career obtaining a PhD in Physics & Mathematics in the Institute for Metal Physics of the National academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1989. He received an Excellence Award for his PhD thesis with specialization in Solid State Physics.
